Cashelle Butler

Wonderette: Cindy Lou

Cashelle Butler as

LET’S GET TO KNOW YOU…

NAME: Cashelle Butler

DOB: April 2nd

HOMETOWN: Denver, Co

EDUCATION: BA in Musical Theatre from University of Northern Colorado

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE…

…What’s My (Current) Favorite – I’m too indecisive to have the pressure of an all-time Favorite…

COLOR: Turquoise

MOVIE: “Guardians of the Galaxy”

BOOK: “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn

BAND: Are bands a thing still?

SONG: “Rather Be” by Clean Bandit/Jess Glynne

DESIGNER: LuluLemon. Or maker of anything that feels like pajamas on my body.

PLAY: “August Osage County”

MUSICAL: “Parade”

BEVERAGE: Wine

SEASON: Spring and Fall

HOLIDAY: All the Holidays. Even National Pizza Day.

RESTAURANT: City O’City

THIS OR THAT…

DOGS OR CATS? Dogs. Specifically tiny poodles.

MUSICAL OR PLAY? Musical.

GOLD OR SILVER? Sparkly Things

COKE OR PEPSI? Kombucha.

EARLY BIRD OR NIGHT OWL? Sleep.

BOXERS OR BRIEFS? Longjohns.

PIERCINGS OR TATTOOS? Both?

TAN OR PALE? Well, I’m Irish.

SKI OR SNOWBOARD? Ski. But mostly sled.

CALIFORNIA OR FLORIDA? Whichever has shade. (Once again, the Irish thing).

LEATHER OR LACE? Um… I like both in moderation?

ANSWER ME THIS…

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS? Squirt them in someone’s eye.

THE GREATEST INVENTION IN HISTORY IS? Kettle Chips

YOU’RE STRANDED ON A DESERTED ISLAND. WHAT TWO ITEMS DO YOU BRING? Umbrella and Puppy.

WHAT DID YOU WEAR TO PROM? COLORS? A dress, but wished I was wearing stretchy pants the entire time. Nobody was really looking at me, though, they were looking at my adorable date (see photos below).

HOW WERE YOU ASKED TO PROM? If I recall, I was mostly asked over text. Which was not very creative, nor memorable!

IT’S YOUR PARTY, WHY ARE YOU CRYING? Because there’s pizza and I’m allergic to everything!

IF YOU COULD LIVE IN A DIFFERENT DECADE OR TIME PERIOD, WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE? I’m not sure exactly. But my diet reflects that of the Paleolithic era, so… Cavewoman?

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN ACTING? As long as I can remember!

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE ROLE THAT YOU’VE PLAYED? Paulette the hair lady in “Legally Blonde”

WHAT’S YOUR DREAM ROLE TO BE CAST? Brienne in a Game of Thrones musical (yet to be written).

WHO IS YOUR HERO? BIGGEST INSPIRATION? My parents! They are such hard working, kind, fun, talented individuals and I truly admire them.

WHERE ARE YOU IN 10 YEARS? Still cuddling puppies and eating kettle chips.

CAN WE FOLLOW YOU?… Yes, but only if you want to see a lot of pictures of my toy poodle.

WHY SEE THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES? It has such fun music! There are so many awesome songs of the 50s and 60s that will make you laugh, sing and dance along, and wish you were the prom queen!
