STAGECRAFT: THE VIDEO GAME

It’s time for auditions for the school play, but, surprise, surprise, no boys are interested in participating. They are too caught up in their video games to be bothered with the school production. So, Kate challenges her cousin Matt. He must agree to commit to the play unless he can beat the new, never-before-seen video game, StageCraft. From here, our students will enter the world of theatre, tackling casting decisions, staging, and set building. This will prove to be the most difficult and rewarding game Matt ever has played.
SNOW WHITE IS ALRIGHT!

In this classic but altered story of Snow White, there are all the scenes you’d expect — but with some wonderful surprises. Of course, there is Snow White, the wicked Queen and the Prince, but be prepared for some unpredictable comedic characters. You’ll love the clever dialogue in this playful adaptation.

Join us for a weekly lesson on all the types of scenarios you will face in the audition room. Monologues, cold reads, slating, song selection — you name it! Tackle all the things you used to fear, and learn to enjoy, have fun with, and be confident in the thing that gets you cast. Whether you are new to theatre, or have some experience, this class will make you better. Carter Edward Smith is a professional actor with more than a decade of experience. He has auditioned HUNDREDS of times, and he will share his hard-learned lessons with you to help you achieve success.
