Steve is an award-winning director, actor, teacher, and administrator with more than 30 years of experience serving several arts organizations in various capacities. He is currently the executive artistic director for CenterStage Theatre Company in Louisville, CO. Directing Credits include: The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong (Vintage Theatre); The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Sound of Music (Candlelight Dinner Playhouse); Fiddler on the Roof (Ovation West); An Ideal Husband (The Naples Players); Urinetown, Man of La Mancha, Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Phamaly Theatre Company); Twelfth Night (Theatre Group); Poignant Irritations, The Little Prince, Sleeping Beauty (Mizel Arts and Culture Center). Select Awards include: Best Direction/Musical (Four Henry Awards, Best of Westward); Achievement in Children’s Theatre (Two Henry Awards), and Theatre Person of the Year (True West Award). Mr. Wilson has a Master’s of Fine Arts in Acting from the National Theatre Conservatory and a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Drama from the University of Southern California.
