Town Hall Arts Center is thrilled to announce auditions for The Hunchback of Notre Dame

 IN CONCERT

This production will be a first-of-its-kind for Town Hall Arts Center!

We will be collaborating with the Littleton Symphony Orchestra and the Voices West choir to create a semi-staged concert version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame at the Littleton United Methodist Church! Our actors will take on several roles (each!) and be supported by a FULL CHOIR and a FULL SYMPHONY ORHCESTRA!!

Rehearsals

October 1 – 13

There may also be a couple of additional rehearsals on Monday evenings prior to October 1st in which the actors will attend the rehearsal of Voices West and/or Littleton Symphony. These will be as needed and will be scheduled with as much notice as possible.

All actors are paid a $1500 stipend for this production

No AEA/Equity contracts are available for this production.

NEEDED:

There are 6 Storyteller roles that will cover a multitude of characters

We are looking for character Actors with strong singing voices of all ethnicities/races, abilities, and gender identities. Please see role breakdown below. There will be limited choreography, but lots of movement changing into and out of a multitude of characters.Though this production is a semi-staged concert, we are contractually obligated to perform the entire piece so there will be a large amount of memorization (both lines and lyrics) as well as characterization and playing multiple characters.This will be a FAST & FURIOUS process conjoining three separate creative groups. Those wishing to participate should be strong of character, patient, flexible, and fast learners.

Requirements

  • 32 bars of a song in the style of the show that highlights your range
  • 1-minute monologue 
  • Headshot and Resume (upload virtually prior to audition as well as bring hard copy to audition)
