Accessibility

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (1990), Town Hall Arts Center is fully accessible, including front doors that can be automatically activated, accessible ramps, an accessible restroom on the lobby level, and an elevator to the performance level.

Town Hall Arts Center offers accessible seating on the floor level of the theatre for patrons who cannot physically access stairs, or who are wheelchair-bound. Patrons can choose to transfer from a wheelchair to the accessible theatre chairs, or the chairs can be removed to allow space for a wheelchair. For patrons with walkers, our volunteers and House Managers will store walkers back stage during the performance, and bring them back to the patron at intermission and at the end of the show. Accessible seats on the floor level of the theatre are located in the front row of the Value seats in sections I (1) and IV (4).

Additionally, in compliance with the ADA, accessible seats are available for purchase during all Box Office Hours, and online 24 hours a day. The seats are clearly marked with ADA approved icons, and include a pop-up statement that inform patrons the seats are reserved for whose needing accessible seating.

As with all seats, accessible seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Fixed Series package holders will be permitted to exchange their tickets up to 24-hours before their scheduled performance time with no fees.  They will be given comparable seats to their normal package seats based on availability. There is an upgrade fee charged for Fixed Series package holders that exchange from a cheaper performance rate (Thursday or Sunday evening) to a higher price performance rate (Friday/Saturday evenings and Saturday/Sunday matinees). There will also be an upgrade fee for Fixed Series package holders who exchange from a lower priced seating option (Preferred or Value) to a higher priced seating option (Preferred or Premium). However there is no refund given for exchanging from a higher price ticket to a lower price ticket.

Any and all additional (individual) seats purchased by Fixed Series package holders will be subject to the Individual Ticket holders exchange fees and policies (including tickets purchased with “Bring a Friend Half Price” coupons).

Individual Ticket holders

Patrons who purchase Individual Tickets will be allowed to exchange their tickets up to 24-hours before their scheduled performance and will incur a $4 exchange fee per ticket. There will be an additional upgrade fee attached for Individual Ticket holders that exchange from a cheaper performance rate (Thursday or Sunday evening) to a higher price performance rate (Friday/Saturday evenings and Saturday/Sunday matinees). There will also be an upgrade fee attached for Individual Ticket holders who exchange from a lower priced seating option (Preferred or Value) to a higher priced seating option (Preferred or Premium). However there is no refund given for exchanging from a higher price ticket to a lower price ticket.

All exchanges must be made within the same production and season in which the original tickets were purchased. No exchanges between differing productions or future seasons will be permitted. Events which have only one (1) performance (such as concerts) are not subject to exchanges and will follow the Ticket Refund policies and Procedures.

Exceptions to any and all exchange policies are at the discretion of the Box Office Manager.

Groups

Patrons buying a group of 10 or more tickets will receive a discount equal to five dollars ($5) off the full price of the ticket. This discount cannot be combined with any other discounted ticket price (such as Student/Senior of “Bring a Friend Half Price” coupons). The $2 per ticket commission fee will still be added on to the cost of each ticket.

Established or Incorporated Groups

For groups that are established or incorporated (such as Senior Living establishments or community groups) a reservation can be made without payment. Final count and payment will be due one month (30 days) prior to the performance date. This can be flexible with permission of the Box Office Manager, but final numbers and payment must be made at least 2 weeks (14 calendar days) prior to the performance.

Non-established Groups

A non-established group will receive the same group rate discount on the price of the tickets but must make payment at the time of reservation. No tickets will be held without payment.

All group sales are subject to Exchange and Cancellation policies and procedures.

Hours of Operation

The Town Hall Arts Center and Stanton Art Gallery are open for business 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Additionally, the building is open for performances one hour before the start of any scheduled performance and for any scheduled special events.

The Box Office is open for business 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday during the regular performance season. During the summer, when there are no regularly scheduled events, the Box Office is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday. This is subject to change based on need.

The Box Office will open for day-of-show business one hour before curtain on dates with a scheduled performance.

Rush and Industry Tickets

Rush Tickets

There will be 10 Rush Tickets available to all main stage and concert performances. The tickets will be $10 each and will go on sale when the Box Office opens one hour before curtain. Only two tickets will be sold per patron per performance (for example, one person cannot purchase six Rush Tickets for their friends who are meeting them at the theatre later). The Rush Tickets will be in the Value seats, on the side, in section I (1) or IV (4). No more than the 10 tickets will be available at the Rush Ticket price at any given performance.

Industry Tickets

Theatre professionals can purchase one half-price ticket to any performance when the Box Office opens one hour before curtain. They must show a recent headshot and resume (which will be returned to them) to receive the discount. The half-price ticket is equal to 50% off the full price of the seat they are purchasing and cannot be combined with any other discounts.

Rush Tickets and Industry tickets are not subject to Exchange and/or Refund policies and procedures. All sales are final.

Ticket Cancellation and Commission Fees

Patrons who purchase individual tickets will be permitted to cancel tickets up to 24 hours before their scheduled showtime. If the patron agrees to an account credit, they will receive a 100% refund (minus the $2 per ticket commission fee) which will be credited to their account, available to be used against future purchases. If they request cash/credit/check refund, they willreceive a 65% refund (minus the $2 per ticket commission fee).

The $2 per ticket commission fee is non-refundable in all cancellation/refund circumstances except in circumstances approved by the Box Office Manager.

For sales paid by credit card: If the sale is more than a month (30 days) old, the refund will be issued by check request instead of a refund to the credit card. The check request process can take 7-10 business days. Any requested refund within a month (30 days) of the original sale will be refunded to the credit card directly.

For sales paid for by cash or check: All refunds for sales in which the purchase was made by cash or check will be issued by check request. The check request process can take 7-10 business days.

Individual Ticket Holders

Patrons who purchase Individual Tickets will be allowed to exchange their tickets up to 24 hours before their scheduled performance and will incur a $4 exchange fee per ticket.

Late Seating

Because of the configuration of Town Hall’s performance space and the necessity to walk across the stage to access seats, no late seating will be allowed once the House Manager has closed the house and handed it over to the Production Stage Manager. Audience members who arrive late will be allowed to sit in the Stanton Art Gallery and watch Act 1 on the Closed Circuit Television. They will be allowed to enter the theatre at intermission for Act 2. Any patrons who arrive late are subject to the Refund and Exchange policies and any exceptions to these will be at the discretion of the Box Office Manager.
