And now, let’s meet the artists!

Jam Wong

Jam Wong was born in China and came to the United States as a child of nine. Even so, his early childhood education in Chinese calligraphy contributes to his ease with the brush and his artistic expression.

A professional architect who has practiced in Denver for over forty years, Jam now devotes his time to the fine arts. He participates in juried exhibitions and his award winning works are in private and corporate art collections.

To Jam, painting is a continual learning process. He likes to explore the interplay of light, color, shape, value, mood and composition through the human form, still life or landscape. Each work of art communicates and interprets the perceptions and experiences shaping his view of the world.  View more at Facebook .

Born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1958, Ugljesa Janjic came to the United States to attend the University of Washington’s architectural program in Seattle. At that time watercolor was the preferred medium for architectural illustration because of its rapid application and efficiency. In his post-graduate years, Janjic meandered through many jobs – from urban planning to graphic design, architecture and interior design – and through three continents and multiple cultures. Throughout these stages and transitions, the constant was always his thirst to express his creativity in watercolor painting.  Thus began a lifelong passion that has taken him far beyond rendering homes and office buildings into scenes of urban life and the pastoral, idyllic Rocky Mountains of the West.
Watercolors require skilled timing in application, and Janjic found that the urgent nature of their application suited his personality and sensibilities. He believes in the beauty of the moment, of the uncomplicated, and trusts that the eye will fill in the blanks perfectly to complete the story on canvas. View more at www.janjicart.com .

Jean Caggiano

Born in 1950 and raised on Long Island, NY, Jean Caggiano has been a Colorado resident for over 35 years. Working with color and composition as a long-time graphic designer has been a tremendous influence, as well as an advantage, to her approach to subject matter and painting style.

Jean has studied painting and color theory at the Art Students League of Denver and has exhibited in the organization’s annual Summer Art Market for the last five years. Jean has also shown in juried and invitational exhibits at Republic Plaza in downtown Denver, at the Lone Tree Arts Center, the Curtis Arts & Humanities Center in Greenwood Village, the Madden Museum in Greenwood Village, and Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora.  View more at www.jeancaggiano.com.
